Minister for Agriculture Food and the Marine Simon CoveneyThe Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney T.D. has introduced new regulations to protect the integrity a number of key Irish spirit drinks products. 

Referring to these important regulations today, Minister Coveney said, “These regulations provide critically important protection for Irish companies in the developing Irish Spirit Drinks sector, which has ambitious plans to establish a number of new distilleries to meet the growing demand worldwide.”

The National Library of Ireland (NLI)’s National Photographic Archive will officially launch ‘Portraits of the Invisible’, an exhibition of portrait photographs of Irish men and women involved in World War I, tomorrow, 22nd July in the National Photographic Archive, Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. A media preview and photocall will take place at 11am.
